Senior High School
On October 29, the Ambridge Area School District held its 3rd annual Technical Trade Expo. This event is designed to promote industry and trade related prospects to students in the 11th and 12th grade. Many opportunities are currently available to those choosing the non-traditional, four-year collegiate route; it is here where students were able to partner with local organizations including Almatis, Impact Guard, Pennaflame, O'neal Manufacturing, American Subcontractors Association and Sukup Structures allowing them the ability to train and start careers directly from high school making a substantial salary.
In addition, Judge Ross, a pioneer for unions in the Beaver County area, came to speak with representatives to alert students of the countless jobs becoming available in their industries. Thank you to all who made this day a great success. We look forward to next year and building community partnerships for our students! If you have any questions regarding this event please contact Mrs. Santini or Mrs. Brewer.
