Ambridge Area School District Board of Education (“Board”) has cancelled the Board Meeting scheduled for July 8, 2020.  The Voting Meeting of the Board will be held on July 15, 2020 at 7 p.m. for general business purposes.  The meeting will be held virtually using the Zoom Meeting platform.

 

If you are interested in either (1) offering public comments and/or (2) attending the meeting, details follow:

 

Public comment will only be taken in written formats via email in advance of the meeting. Public comments received in advance will be circulated to the Board and read during the meeting.  All comments must include the resident/property owner’s name and address.  Public comments will be accepted via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Special Council Meeting Notice for Public Meetings During the COVID-19 Crisis:

The Ambridge Area School District Board of School Directors has legally advertised that during the COVID-19 disaster emergency, Board meetings will be held virtually in order for the Board, its employees/agents and the public to legally comply with Governor Wolf’s Stay At Home Order and maintain appropriate social distancing.  The April 15, 2020 meeting and future meetings will be held at 7 p.m. using the Zoom Meeting platform.  The agenda for this and other virtual meetings will be abbreviated to balance ongoing operational needs and the public’s participation rights.  The agenda is posted here.  No new business will be permitted during the meeting in order to comply with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act.
